Post-Test Training Course
The aim of the Post-Test training course is to build up the skills of the client who already has a full motorcycle licence.
We will build the course around any skills you already have, and the content of the course will depend on what you want to get out of the day. Although the course is individually tailored to each client, there are two main routes we can take for the training on this course. These are as follows:
'Back to Bikes'
This is the course you will need if you have held a motorcycle licence for many years, but have not ridden for some time and want to get back on a bike. We will ease you back in to riding and train you to be confident and competent whilst in control of your motorcycle.
Advanced Training
This course is aimed at someone who rides a motorcycle on a more regular basis, but wants to improve their skills. During this course we will instruct you on cornering techniques, advanced observations, defensive riding techniques, road positioning and overtaking skills. Unlike the advanced courses offered by the I.A.M/R.O.S.P.A etc, this course is not certificated to insurance standards, however it will give you the skills you need to improve your riding ability.
The course will run from 9.00am until 4.00pm with a break for lunch.
Included in the Post-Test training course are:
- Tuition
- Certain Protective and Reflective Clothing
- Comprehensive Insurance (this is not applicable if you use your own motorcycle)
If you have your own equipment/motorcycle, please feel free to use them for your training, as we want you to feel as comfortable as possible.
To be eligible for our Post-Test training course you must already hold a full motorcycle licence. You will need to bring your driving licence (if it is a photo-card you will also need the paper counter part). If you are using your own motorcycle, please also bring your insurance certificate.
