£135 per day, available in half-day sessions (3 hours).
The aim of the DAS course is to enable you to learn to ride a larger capacity motorcycle safely and confidently. On passing the Driving Standards Agency's practical DAS motorcycle test, you will receive a full motorcycle licence. This licence entitles you to ride a motorcycle of any capacity and power output.
Our DAS courses are individually tailored to each client. Our courses range from 1 day to 5 days depending on your ability, confidence and previous experience. We offer you the opportunity to improve your skills and experience by giving you extra tuition on a 125cc motorcycle if you need it, before introducing you to the 500cc motorcycles.
Each day of the course will run from 09.30 until 16.30 with a break for lunch.
The course will start with some theory and motorcycle familiarisation, we will then teach you to ride the motorcycle safely. We will teach you to ride a motorcycle beyond the test standard set by the Driving Standards Agency.
Included in all of the DAS courses we provide are:
- Tuition
- DSA Motorcycle Theory Test
- DSA Motorcycle Practical Test
- Certain Protective and Reflective Clothing
- Comprehensive Insurance (this is not applicable if you use your own motorcycle)
- Theory Test Preparation and Practice
If you have your own equipment/motorcycle, please feel free to use them for your training, as we want you to feel as comfortable as possible.
To be eligible for any of our DAS courses you must be 21 years old or over.
Every day of the training and tests you will need to bring with you:
- Your driving licence (if it is a photo-card style licence you will also need the paper counter part)
- CBT certificate
- theory test certificate (if applicable)
- Module 1 pass certificate (if taking module 2 test)
