A2 (125cc) Motorcycle Training

The aim of the A2 course is to enable you to learn to ride a 125cc motorcycle safely and confidently. Upon passing the Driving Standards Agency's practical A2 motorcycle test, you will receive a full motorcycle licence. This licence will have a two-year power restriction of 33bhp. This restriction will allow you to ride a higher capacity motorcycle and build your skills without going overboard.

Our A2 course is individually tailored to each client. If you have had a lot of experience on a motorcycle, our one-day course may be suitable for you, whereas if you are completely new to motorcycling, our five-day course could be more up your street.

Each day of the course will run from 9.00am until 4.00pm with a break for lunch. The only exception to this will be the day of your test, where we will give you up to two hours training before your test (free of charge).

A2 course in progressThe course will start with some theory and motorcycle familiarisation, we will then teach you to ride the motorcycle safely. We will teach you to ride a motorcycle beyond the test standard set by the Driving Standards Agency.

Included in any of the A2 courses we provide are:

If you have your own equipment/motorcycle, please feel free to use them for your training, as we want you to feel as comfortable as possible.

To be eligible for any of our A2 courses you must be 17 years old or over. You will need to bring your driving licence (if it is a photo-card you will also need the paper counter part), CBT certificate and theory test certificate (if applicable) every day of the training and tests.
